Seller Fraud - Aliexpress business model problem

The Sellers who claim return or refund against non-delivery don't actually do so. When a return is claimed, they simply closed their online store and opened new online store (with new name). Obviously there's no identity check while people are opening stores - which is Aliexpress' business model deficiency. There are individual honest sellers (if you are lucky), but the website itself should ensure protection against scam sellers, and not leave the customers to their luck of finding an honest seller. Also the negative feedbacks don't seem to all appear - probably the sellers can manipulate those too. This may be the reason of bad products have extremely high review. Customer service never responded against complaints filed.

Fraud sellers are overcoming this by shipping late, so that purchase protection runs out by the time the item arrives. Now if you submit claim on the last date of purchase protection deadline, seller simply declines citing the reason that, shipping delay is not their fault.

Ali-express is lenient on that excuse and doesn't take any action.

Now when the item eventually arrives, purchase protection has already run out, and you cannot claim anymore (that link is disabled). You can file a complaint to customer service (from help menu), but I'm yet to ever hear back from customer service.

Overall the entire experience seemed like a racket of collusion, that Ali-express tacitly condone the fraud sellers.

Obviously there are good sellers, but it's just a matter of luck to find them, as ratings don't mean much, because fraud sellers simply re-open new online pages when a number of negative feedbacks are received. Unfortunately unless Ali-express starts verifying seller's IDs and forces them to maintain unique and verified online store, the ratio of fraud sellers will increase.

THEY CHARGED MY CARD AND THEN CANCELED MY ORDER!!

I attempted to purchase hair from two different vendors here. There was a Veteran's Day Sale so I wanted to get the discounted rate. I placed an order, and called my bank to make sure they would allow the funds to go through since it was an international charge. Late in the day, I got an email from Ali Express canceling my order. I called Chase Bank to find out that they hadn't canceled with them, or refunded my money. Eventually I got it solved. I wondered if it was my card, or my bank, or something I had done wrong. I emailed the vendors and they assured me that it would be fine if I just tried again. I had my sister pay with her card and the EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED!! Got an email canceling the order. I immediately contacted my sister to make sure her bank didn't release the funds. I don't know what kind of SCAM COMPANY this is but I will NEVER EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE ANOTHER PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE!

Never received order

I placed my order and paid quickly, after nearly a month and a half passed I contacted the seller. No response. I kept emailing the seller, no response. I finally tried to click "file a dispute" and it told me the seller was no longer apart of AliExpress unable to open dispute!! Spoke with someone over a chat and she said she was putting a "freeze" on my payment. All in all its been 3 months, Still haven't got a response from AliExpress or Alibaba about a refund. It was only 10$ but its my money!! What can I do?

Aliexpress has the worst customer service i have EVER experienced. Over three weeks ago my order was cancelled because of their system for credit card verification. Despite being INCREDIBLY dodgy i submitted my ID for review. A week later they said i need to also submit my credit card statement - i originally submitted this however they did not accept .pdf format. Nov 1 i resubmitted my ststement in their acceptable format and now 11 days later i am STILL waiting for verification. I have tried several times to contact them for an update via their chat or online email form but the forms always time out before submitting. What the *** aliexpress?? If you dont have a means to be contacted at least ensure your forms work for everyone. This is completely ridiculous and im beyond fed up. Not worth it.

all i have had is good experiences. I was looking for both front and rear seat covers for my car, and I found some very cute ones at Ali. Of course by this time I already read many negative reviews about the website so I was really careful. I picked a couple of stores and emailed all of them, and purchased from one of those who replied me immediately (She replied me in a minute after I emailed her!). Many times I made sure that I would receive the exact same product in the same color as shown in their photo in a right size. It took about 2 weeks for them to process my order but the product arrived only 5 days after they sent it to me (they used FedEx). It is exactly same as the photo. It's beautiful and I love it. Yes it IS true that there are many bad Chinese sellers, but if you become a smart buyer and choose a seller very very carefully, you will be fine. And if you are looking for great seat covers go to The best price best service! Only thing is that it would be better if the product description was in English and it came with a how-to manual book. But I'm just so satisfied so I don't care! Thank you very much.

Beware of SCAM seller Chinese style fashion clothing Store No.424602 at AliExpress . He gave invalid tracking number for my Men's Suit order at first, ignored my messages about correcting them, then after i open an dispute, he forwarded a post office delivery proof with valid tracking number, on which faked my name and address (the tracking number is actually for other buyers in my country) to prove that good had been delivered. He claimed that Post Office lost his first parcel, then he resent, hence 2 tracking numbers, which is totally nonsense. I uploaded his fake evidence of delivery with my proof from my Post Office that it was a tracking number for another buyer. He then offered to refund and asked me to cancel dispute but i didn't want him to cheat other buyers, hence alerted Aliexpress instead. After weeks of countless exchanges of conversations via customer service centre , Aliexpress finally found him guilty BUT only banned him for 1 week and unable to help me get refund. THAT MEANS => he will be out to cheat again after 7 days, he might change to other company name and starts to lay his traps again, so please do BEWARE !!!
