i bought a item from them the seller did not send a ce marking with it or certificate so customs held it but i put in a dispute but they still paid the seller so now he has my money and will soon have his goods to as customs will send it back the do not care about anyone just the money ive chatted 5 times on there care thing each time a different person and they dont know what they are talking about all they say is we are here to help and you cannot talk on the phone to them

'the website have horrible customer service. I brought several item from website and it had a combine payment option which made for better shipment, but it paid one person the total amount of money and my other item was not paid for. I tried fine a way to contact the site but it just send me to a robot which was not help . I paid for one item which was 95% over the price it was listed as. I didn't get my other products. Fake items fraudent sellers

The website is not a scam, but many sellers are, and the website does not care much about scams. That is my experience. I bought ozon cleaner for car use, opened the product and inside the nice looking exterior was 1 diod light, 1 resistor and 1 transistor. That was all. No way this product can produce ozon and clean air. I told aliexpress this, and also send them pictures I had taken of the electronics, they told me they needed more proof for my claim, so I explained again why it is not possible that the product can produce ozon. Aliexpressed closes the case telling me in one sentence that my claim was wrong. I an certain that aliexpress knows it was a lie, since very basic knowledge of electronics is needed to understand that I was right. I even chatted with a representative from aliexpress at their website that comfirmed that I was right. But the people you chat with have no authority, it is the so called "expert team" that makes the decisions. The people you chat with tells you they will contact the expert team and also the seller but I did not get any answers from the expert team or the seller. I also chat with a person telling me that all that aliexpress do is connect buyer and seller and that they take no responsibility. It is only the seller that is responsible for a fraud. I argued that the problem in my case is the factory that produce the fake item, and that this item is sold by hundreds of shops at aliexpress, but aliexpress will not act to stop the product. It is up to each seller if they want to sell a fake item or not, and obviously very many sellers want to do that ...

I received defective product and filed a dispute with AliExpress. They contacted the seller and was told all product is tested before it ships so AliExpress denied my claim of this worthless defective product. They have no email that i can find to respond. So basically I paid for something that does not work and I can't use. I learned my lesson dealing with these crooks.

I bought a 3 piece pant suit through Ali express thinking their Buyer Protection plan was a safe guard. I received an all in one pant suit

with a zipper going from under the arm to the waist.

At 5' 8" I could not

find a way to get into it - my girlfriend who is 5' 3" manage to bend her

neck sideways enough to get into the suit - but her hair and makeup were

trashed - I asked for a refund as the product was not the 3 piece advertised

and it was un wearable - they offered me $10 refund.

I did not accept and have heard no more. There is no where you can take your complaint except to the seller - all seems great until you receive the wrong item then you are on your own - safe your money - buy from a trusted seller

I did escalate my dispute and it said someone from AliExpess would contact me. I never heard from anyone until i got the message that they were paying the seller because the seller started all product is tested before it ships.

I made a video showing that it doesn't work but they don't let you upload a video when you file a dispute. They only let you upload a jpg picture file.

So escalating a dispute does not help at all.

Seller Fraud - Aliexpress business model problem

The Sellers who claim return or refund against non-delivery don't actually do so. When a return is claimed, they simply closed their online store and opened new online store (with new name). Obviously there's no identity check while people are opening stores - which is Aliexpress' business model deficiency. There are individual honest sellers (if you are lucky), but the website itself should ensure protection against scam sellers, and not leave the customers to their luck of finding an honest seller. Also the negative feedbacks don't seem to all appear - probably the sellers can manipulate those too. This may be the reason of bad products have extremely high review. Customer service never responded against complaints filed.

Fraud sellers are overcoming this by shipping late, so that purchase protection runs out by the time the item arrives. Now if you submit claim on the last date of purchase protection deadline, seller simply declines citing the reason that, shipping delay is not their fault.

Ali-express is lenient on that excuse and doesn't take any action.

Now when the item eventually arrives, purchase protection has already run out, and you cannot claim anymore (that link is disabled). You can file a complaint to customer service (from help menu), but I'm yet to ever hear back from customer service.

Overall the entire experience seemed like a racket of collusion, that Ali-express tacitly condone the fraud sellers.

Obviously there are good sellers, but it's just a matter of luck to find them, as ratings don't mean much, because fraud sellers simply re-open new online pages when a number of negative feedbacks are received. Unfortunately unless Ali-express starts verifying seller's IDs and forces them to maintain unique and verified online store, the ratio of fraud sellers will increase.

THEY CHARGED MY CARD AND THEN CANCELED MY ORDER!!

I attempted to purchase hair from two different vendors here. There was a Veteran's Day Sale so I wanted to get the discounted rate. I placed an order, and called my bank to make sure they would allow the funds to go through since it was an international charge. Late in the day, I got an email from Ali Express canceling my order. I called Chase Bank to find out that they hadn't canceled with them, or refunded my money. Eventually I got it solved. I wondered if it was my card, or my bank, or something I had done wrong. I emailed the vendors and they assured me that it would be fine if I just tried again. I had my sister pay with her card and the EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED!! Got an email canceling the order. I immediately contacted my sister to make sure her bank didn't release the funds. I don't know what kind of SCAM COMPANY this is but I will NEVER EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE ANOTHER PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE!
