I had sent the following email to an address (buyer@***.com) that is apparently not used anymore:

Dear Sirs,

Re Order ID: 801183****218053 From Jimaiqi Tablet Parts Store

Regarding my order above for:

(New 10.1 inch Tablet LCD Screen for Teclast Master T10 lcd display with touch screen panel digitizer Sensor LQ101R1SX01A)

The order was placed; ( Order time: 22:46 Mar. 24 2020) per your website.

I waited until end of May before I received the goods.

I didn't complain as I understood the effects of the COVID19 pandemic on deliveries.

When I finally received it, within 2 days I had arranged for the new LCD panel to be fitted professionally to my Teclast T10 Tablet. A few days later I collected my Tablet and noticed that there appeared to be a fault with one side of the new panel.

I contacted the supplier JIMAIQI Tablet part store and advised them of this fault. A chat conversation was had where I had to supply proof of the fault, which I did by means of photos and a video.

They asked me to try a few things to rectify the problem, so I drove to my technician again (36km return trip), who tried every suggested way of rectifying the problem but the technician kept telling me that it was a faulty panel and that I needed to swap it for a new one.

After a few weeks of conversation, Jimaiqi finally agreed to do this, but adamant that only on the basis that I return the faulty one first, claim a refund, then purchase a new one from them.

A process that to me was unacceptable as it would take many months under current pandemic conditions for this to take place, let alone the fact that I would have to drive to my technician again to have the old panel removed and I would have nothing to show for the money that I outlaid both for the panel and the installation. (around AUD180)

I requested that a new panel be sent to me, and that when fitted, the faulty one would then be sent back as requested to an address supplied by Jimaiqi.

This was not acceptable to them.

I have been a long-time customer of Aliexpress and this supplier of yours is going a long way toward me cancelling my account with your company, as its giving you a bad reputation with me (as insignificant as that may be with you) Please act quickly to rectify this problem as I am left with a device that is difficult to use because of the fault described.

User's recommendation: Don't Use Aliexpress Unless you have some buyer protection.
