Aliexpress - On time guarantee is all words, no action
Aliexpress advertises a 60 day on-time guarantee, but when the buyer protection time runs out and you file a claim, you get told the vendor says he shipped it, so your claim is invalid and wait some more. There is no mechanism I can find to dispute this.
This appears to be especially true if the vendor used Aliexpress shipping, where Aliexpress would have to pay the refund if they allowed the claim. Also, when a vendor sees the clock ticking down, he quite often will extend buyer protection for you, which sounds like a great deal until you consider all this does is push the window further out in time. If you claim for goods not arriving on time, Aliexpress reviews and sees that protection is still there, so disallows your claim.
In theory, a vendor could keep extending and you might never receive either your goods nor a refund. My dad used to always say there is no free lunch, and for those of us who thought we were getting a deal by dealing with these shady characters, that was good advice on his part.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $50.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Aliexpress Cons: Lack of integrity, No ability to clearly communicate, Misleading refund policy.

I can relate to your experience. I've had a similar issue with Aliexpress.
I ordered four units of a product and only received one.
I have simply been ignored by both Ali and the seller on the issue. It's like they expect the customer to simply be OK with being ripped off.
